Globe Call & Text Collect

Globe Call & Text Collect

Introducing the first and only cellphone collect service ever!

How to use:

I. Register!

1. Type ADD_ ; you can register up to 5 GHP numbers in one SMS!

2. Send to 2911

3. You will receive the following confirmation message:
‘You have added a member. As of mm/dd/yy,these are the ff members of your text collect grp: 01:091x-xxxxxxx,02:091x-xxxxxxx,03:091x-xxxxxxx,04:091x-xxxxxxx,05:091x-xxxxxxx;”

4. To activate the Call Collect Caller ID feature, the subscriber has to save the code in the following format: 00111+ 2 digit code of the registered member (ex: 0011102 save in your phonebook as COLLECT – Marie Santos)

Note:
a. Entry must be saved as a distinguishable phonebook entry (unique)
b. Recommended to save the entry with the word COLLECT so they will recognize the call as a collect call.
5. Your registered GHP number will receive the following message:
“You are now a text collect member of 091x-xxxxxxx. To; To text collect,type 091x-xxxxxxx (your msg) then send to 2911.

Note:
For subscriber previously registered to Text Collect, all their registered members will be automatically pre-registered to their number for call collect.

II. Call Collect

1. Your registered member can use the call collect service only if

a. He is still registered under your call and text collect list
b. His prepaid credit is already below P1.00
c. For prepaid, You have sufficient load to accept the call (P6.50)
d. For postpaid, You have not reached your 30 minutes monthly call collect cap
e. Your call and text service is turned ON

2. To call, your registered member just have to dial the call collect prefix + your globe handyphone number + pound sign (#)

Example: *111*09171234567#

3. After dialing this, your registered member will see the following message flashed in his phone screen:
“Please wait, your transaction is being processed. We will connect your call shortly”

4. Once you answer the call, you will be connected to your calling registered member. Please wait until he answers the call.

5. Once connected, the recipient will be charged P6.50 per minute rate.

Things to remember for registered Call and Text Collect members:

1. You can only use Globe and Text Collect when you’re out of load already.

2. Please turn-off all call diverts when making a collect call. The service will not be possible if your call divert is turned on.

3. Globe’s Call and Text Collect service is ONLY available locally. Hence, you cannot use call and text collect when you or your called number is roaming.

VATICAN CITY – In his first set of major appointments, Pope Benedict XVI named 15 new cardinals, including U.S. Archbishops William J. Levada, head of the Vatican's doctrinal congregation, and Sean P. O'Malley of Boston, which will make the U.S. contingent second in size only to the Italians.
Here is the list of the 15 cardinals-designate, in the order in which they were announced by the pope:
